This is a freewheeling site dedicated to my thoughts on what is happening in the world and also my own personal writing.

Some days, there will be my ‘Smack of the Day’ about something that has irritated, illuminated or excited me. Comment on it and let’s actually debate the issue!

Initially, I decided to set up this site, because I felt that I had something to offer and I hoped to facilitate a shift in attitude. Well, that is almost certainly hubris, so now all I want to do is put my opinions, ideas and thoughts in the public square. If people like them, great. If people agree, great. And if you don’t that’s fine too.

Doing this work would be impossible without the support and loving care of my wife, Jennifer. It would also not be possible without the help of our good friend Kara Gall and her Inkstage team. So, thank you to both of them.

There is going to be a lot of information on this site, so be prepared. There are no shortcuts to knowledge. It takes hard work and dedication. If you are looking for a site where a black and white opinion will be laid out for you, you should move on. This will require thought and effort. But, I know we can do it!!!
